A Walk with the G. Family

I'm pleased to be able to photographer the G. family again, and we had a very small window of time when it wasn't raining.  The forecast promised an hour of sun today...we didn't see that (maybe 2 minutes) but we still kept calm and carried on!
Even though our friends live just in a village next to ours and we see each other at least twice a week, there's no denying that their little ones are growing up way too fast.  I took this little guy's photos before he even made his debut and now he's just turned two!
 She's a great big sis!

 It's big brother C.!

Soaking in the Spanish Sun

Our family has such an appetite for travel and have found the beauty of off-peak travel.  We couldn't pass up another winter get-away where they boast of more than 300 sunny days out of the year...and so we left the chilly UK and spent a week in Espana!
Perhaps compared to their extremely hot summers, November would feel a bit chilly (everyone seemed to be bundled up) but we felt like it was summer, at least an Indian summer for families like us.
We spent a day in Granda at the Alhambra, it was beautiful!

Our favorite part was waking down to the city center, to be honest with these three, anything and everything can be made enjoyable, even walking down a street.

I don't think I'll ever tire of the Spanish guitar.  This man was amazing, he had fingers of magic.
The Cathedral was lovely, imagine worshiping each week here!
Morocco was just an hour ferry ride away, we choose not to go there again, maybe when the kids are older.
In Ronda the bull fighting ring was exciting for the kids to runs round.

My favorite was the Ronda Viaduct.
This time we walked much further and made our way around the village outskirts.

We climbed down the the gorge, I thought the reflection was the highlight.
The Spanish sun did not disappoint.
We discovered a new village and I think this is  my absolutely favorite village in Spain, Frigiliana.
It seemed to be just us and the locals wondering around the windy cobbled streets and white washed homes.  It felt like we were back in Greece.

The eyes on this cat matched all my favorite doors and windows accented in blue.

Now can you come to Spain without getting a Flamingo dress and a Matador cape?

Spain, oh Spain!
