Meet the Photographer, Vanessa!
Photography is one of my favorite passions in life, next to music (playing the violin & singing), hearing the bagpipes (they always seem to make my heart thump loudly), my faith and my family. I'm a full-time mother of three (you'll see them from time to time on the blog), wife to my best friend (whose job allows us to live all over the world), Violin teacher and Photographer.
I have been on this photography journey for many years now, it has become a favorite hobby! I am following in the footsteps of my father, who had his own dark room and would compose the most amazing photographs. His style of back streets, natural moments and amazing back light has inspired me. I want those same memories for my family, as we are living similar dreams overseas. I photograph for memory sake (especially since our family is scattered from Seattle WA to Spencer TN) and as a journal to mark time. Life is full of disappearing evidence that we once were this age, at this time. I want to capture just how fleeting childhood is, how precious those little bits of evidence are.
