4th of July in Cornwall

We celebrated this 4th of July & the our girls' birthdays by driving down to Cornwall.  The beach was beautiful, the heat unexpected and relaxation much needed!  I was the good wife and drove the 6 hours south as C. was the good student who studied all the way down and back.
Early before everyone was up I'd go for a walk and catch the sunrise (0515).  Walks in the evenings were relaxing as well but the sun didn't go down until after 2200 so I just enjoyed the quiet time alone.
Hayle Beach.
Land's End.
The GPS had us weaving in and out of very small villages, even a street that was the size of our mini van, can you see just how close these yellow lines are (yes people, that's one very tiny single lane!)?
We visited St. Michael's Mount.
Tintagel Castle (King Arthur's Castle) & Merlin's Caves were amazing.
Merlin's Caves.
Enjoying a lovely walk on the beach with not a soul in sight.

Over looking St. Ives.
